Platform.sh brought their global team to Munich for a five day company summit and anniversary celebration, around 230 people across two venues. It was an international, multi-day, multi-vendor program with leadership sessions, a gala dinner, AV, DJ, decor and transport, the kind of event that breaks a lean internal team. A global summit, end to end
Platform.sh wanted to gather their global team in Munich for a five day summit that doubled as a company anniversary. That meant a 230 person room block, a leadership track, a gala dinner, breakout sessions, AV across multiple rooms, a DJ, decor, transport and an executive dinner, all in another country.
Two venues, sourced and negotiated
We anchored the summit at The Westin Grand Munich and ran a second venue, Smart Village, for the leadership and team programming. We negotiated the room blocks and upgrades, structured the food and beverage and AV packages to control cost, and brought in and managed every local vendor from the DJ to the photographer.
On the ground for five days
Our team ran the run of show day by day, check-in and rooming for 230 people, dietary management, the gala dinner, the anniversary moment and the daily banquet reconciliation. The internal team got a single point of contact instead of a dozen vendor threads in two languages.
The result on the floor
Attendees rated the experience 100 percent positive, calling out the organization, the food and the AV. We closed out a clean final reconciliation and split the billing the way their finance team needed it.
