On this tour, you will enjoy a fully narrated swamp tour by one of our local captains on the comfort of a swamp tour boat. Our tour boats feature a roof, cushioned seats, windows that can be raised or lowered for the weather, restroom, and plenty of standing and walking room. You may even experience a close encounter with some of the local swamp life. See the Cajuns of the Bayou living and surviving in harmony with the swamps. Here, the waterways are their highways. From the relaxing comfort of our Covered Swamp Tour Boats, we will drift slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery, and a Fishing village! You may see the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase.

‘Faithful Hands’ Farm Tour-Private Tour
Join us in a 90-minute walking tour of a small working farm on the way to Mt. Rainier and close to Northwest Trek. Faithful Hands Farm is on the site of old Faith Dairy (a major milk producing farm in Tacoma's history) 116 acres in size with an unbelievable view of Mt. Rainier. While the farm is relatively large the majority of the action is on only 5 acres. Many things go into running a homestead farm that will be educational and interesting to adults and children alike. Activities visitors experience will be based on animals raised for food and to sell to help the farm go. We also grow various amounts of fruits, berries, vegetables and flowers. Depending on the time of year you may see some vegetable starts in our greenhouse that we grow from seed as well as flowers and herbs. Every year we are adding and improving on what we have already begun. The following are the types of livestock that are raised on the property: Cows, Sheep, Goats, Alpacas, pigs, Livestock Guardian Dogs, Bees, Turkeys, Ducks, Geese, and Chickens. Although they are not pets, they are well loved and cared for. On the tour you will interact with the smaller animals, feed and pet them as well as learning what their role is on the farm. The tour guide is an educator with the Washington State Fair Traveling Farm and has been farming and gardening for many years.

With more than 58 different elements and 3 different levels of challenge, it’s the perfect opportunity for the whole family to get out, have fun, and take on new challenges. For all ages 8 and above—the Sky Gym will excite the senses and build confidence. A fun, exciting and secure experience, the Sky Gym is ideal for adventurers ages 8+ and over 60 lbs. Your adventure begins with harnessing and a safety briefing that will prepare you for your experience. Your harness will keep you tethered for your entire adventure. For Level 1-24 elements adventures, plan to spend about an hour traversing the course. For those wishing to explore level 2-21 elements, plan on about 90 minutes. If you want the ultimate challenge, talk to our team about the extreme Level 3-13 elements! Prior approval is required and can be added at the time of check-in.
