We came back with The Langham in Chicago and a contract that comped the meeting-room rental entirely, around $12,000 plus tax, against the room block, with suite upgrades and VIP amenities on top.
A leaders offsite, to a luxury standard
Intercom wanted to bring around 100 leaders together at a five-star property with proper meeting and AV capability, after first working with us on a smaller executive offsite. The brief was luxury venues with the meeting space and flexibility a working offsite needs.
The Langham, sourced and negotiated
We sourced and contracted The Langham in Chicago, then negotiated the meeting-room rental fully waived as long as the group picked up 90 percent of guest rooms, a saving of about $12,000 plus taxes and fees, the largest line item taken out of the deal.
Upgrades and the work off their plate
On top of the comped meeting space we secured four junior-suite upgrades from deluxe kings, four chef's-choice VIP amenities and 10 percent off AV, while sourcing, contracting and the room block all ran through us.
