Pomelo Care needed to bring its clinical team together, around 150 people, on a real per-room budget after a first retreat with us in New Orleans. We came back with The Line Austin and a contract built to hold the number, a reduced multi-program room rate, waived amenity fee, AV and F&B discounts, and waived meeting-room rental.
A clinical team, a strict budget
Pomelo Care wanted to gather its clinical team of roughly 150 people and needed a boutique-feeling property that could host the full group at around $200 per room per night, in line with their earlier New Orleans retreat. Few boutique hotels can hold 100-plus at that rate, which is exactly the search we run.
Austin, sourced and negotiated
After working venue options across Texas and Florida, we landed on The Line Austin and negotiated a reduced multi-program rate of $199 plus tax, a 4 percent master-account discount, a waived amenity fee, 15 percent off AV and a waived meeting-room rental against a 15 percent food and beverage discount.

Sourcing, quote review, contracting and the room block ran through us across multiple planning calls, so Pomelo's lean team could keep deciding rather than chasing hotels.
