One offsite, then a standing partner
Strava's first brief was a January all-hands within ninety minutes of San Francisco, under budget, with both a big general session and organic breakout space. We sourced the Claremont Club & Spa in Berkeley, an elevated boutique feel with the room block and meeting space to host the full team. It landed, and they came back.
From the Bay to Nice to London
What started as a single Bay Area retreat grew into a recurring program. We have since run leadership trips at Hotel Aston La Scala in Nice and the Melia White House in London, alongside larger gatherings back home, matching the venue to the group every time rather than starting from scratch.
A negotiated home base
When Strava returned to the Claremont for a 110 person fall offsite, we held the line on rate and pulled in the extras: a discounted resort fee, waived meeting room rental against the food and beverage minimum, complimentary guestroom wifi, and one free room for every forty booked. The kind of terms a returning client should get.
